J. Michael Woollen, AIA, NCARB – Project Manager. Michael has specialized in sports and public assembly projects for the last 22 years. He is responsible for business development, design, and project management responsibilities in HKS’s Sports and Entertainment Group. He is actively involved in all phases of projects, but has special expertise in the initial planning stages. His professional experience in sports and public assembly facilities provides him with a comprehensive understanding of all development aspects of projects, including master planning, programming, project budgeting and cost estimating, financial feasibility, operational and functional elements, and design and technology.

Carlos Barrios, AIA - Principal-In-Charge. Carlos is responsible for managing the technical production and management commissions. He has more than 25 years of experience as an architect, project manager and project executive. As the principal-in-charge, project executive or project manager of many major projects, Carlos has made significant contributions to the local landscape during his tenure with Baker Barrios Architects, Inc. His areas of expertise include the design of high-technology facilities, mixed-use developments, government facilities, hospitality complexes, educational facilities and convention centers. His extensive background in working with both public sector and private clients has aided the outstanding growth of the firm.

Barton Myers Associates is architecture and planning firm located in Los Angeles since the early 1980’s has grown to a firm of twenty professionals, including four professionally registered architects, currently working on an assortment of major commissions for public, private and institutional clients. Barton Myers – President. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Barton Myers graduated from the United States Naval Academy and served as a jet-fighter pilot for five years in the United States Air Force, based for three years in England. Following this period he attended architecture courses at Cambridge University and returned to the United States to study architecture. Mr. Myers received his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently worked with Louis I. Kahn.

Damian Doria –Partner. Since joining Artec in 1994, Damian Doria has applied his knowledge of acoustical engineering and music to a wide range of projects. Veronica Anderson – President and Chief Executive Officer. Veronica is a native of Orlando and a graduate of Evans High School. She held leadership positions with the City of Orlando and Orange County in their Minority and Women Business Enterprise Departments and was appointed by the Governor of Florida to lead the State of Florida Minority Business Advocacy and Assistance Office, responsible for implementing a statewide M/WBE Program. As well, she chaired a statewide reciprocal certification task force to create a uniform M/WBE certification application, directory of reciprocal firms and a process for entities to communicate between themselves to recognize the certification status of a business from one governmental entity that would be recognized by all.
